Tax preparer seminar held in Newport

The Rhode Island Division of Taxation today held a seminar for tax preparers. The event, at the Community College of Rhode Island's Newport County campus, attracted 109  preparers. 

The main focus was on what's new for the coming tax-filing season and what's new for the 2017 tax year. Among those making presentations was Chief Revenue Agent Leo Lebeuf (pictured below), who heads the Division of Taxation's Personal Income Tax section.
