Rhode Island's tax amnesty ends tomorrow night.
The Rhode Island Division of Taxation has collected about $9.4 million since the 75-day amnesty period began on September 2. Details are included in the Tax Division's latest Advisory.
Amnesty applications must be filed by the end of Thursday, November 15, 2012, to count.
Mailed applications must be postmarked by midnight on Thursday. Thus, for example, a mailed application postmarked as late as 11:59 p.m. on Thursday will count.
Editor's note: The deadline for amnesty was November 15, 2012. The date was incorrectly listed in the original post on November 14, 2012, but was corrected on November 15, 2012.
