The Rhode Island Division of Taxation reminds taxpapers and tax professionals that the deadline for filings and payments involving Rhode Island resident and nonresident personal income tax returns, covering the 2019 tax year, is two weeks away.
Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the deadline for filings and payments was postponed from April 15 to July 15. (July 15, 2020, is also the deadline for a number of other filings and payments.) No late charges will apply to filings and payments that are made on or before July 15, 2020.
