The Tax Division will hold a
public hearing tomorrow – Thursday, August 23 – on several proposed regulations.
In general, the regulations involve changes that will take effect on October 1
-- including the extension of the sales tax to certain clothing, pet care
services, taxi services, and limousine services.
The hearing starts at 9:30 a.m.
and will be held at the Powers Building , One Capitol Hill, Providence
