Executive Order extended

Rhode Island Governor Daniel J. McKee has extended an Executive Order involving unemployment insurance matters (including relief for employers related to unemployment insurance tax charges). This Executive Order will remain in full force and effect until June 18, 2021, unless renewed, modified, or terminated by subsequent Executive Orders. For more information, click here.

Helpful resources ahead of Monday's tax deadline

This is the final weekend before the deadline to file Rhode Island personal income tax returns and to make any associated payments for the 2020 tax year.

The Rhode Island Division of Taxation’s latest Advisory shows which forms are due on Monday, May 17. The Advisory also includes a handy list of resources, as well as information about the Free File program and details about extensions. To view, click here.

Executive Order extended

Rhode Island Governor Daniel J. McKee has extended Executive Order 20-02, which declared a state of emergency due to the dangers to health and life posed by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. 

This Executive Order will remain in full force and effect until June 10, 2021, unless renewed, modified, or terminated by subsequent Executive Orders. For more information, click here.

Rhode Island's Wavemaker program can help you pay off your student loans.

The program is open and accepting applications for the 2021 year. 

But you must complete your application by midnight tomorrow, May 4, 2021, to be considered.
